What a great place to enjoy yourself. Everyone here is having fun, either vacationing, or spending money planning their next vacation!

We got a quick tour of a brand new Yacht getting ready for it's first work. The rooms are larger than many entire apartments. Most people's yearly salaries could not charter the boat for 2 days. The captain and crew were very friendly showing off their new vessel.

Earlier in the day I took my Father on a walking tour to the casino at Monte Carlo and then up to the Palace and the Oceanographic Museum. Pop was a real trooper as he climbed the many stairs, one at a time, with breaks!

Here is a shot of me to prove that I was there too! This is taken right behind the casino along the coast with a view north towards Italy.

We finished the day off with a nice relaxing evening on the terrace. There was a nearly full moon rising over the town, although it was mostly cloudy and cool, rare for summer in the south of France, but very nice indeed.

Oh Yes, and we put a photo in from this morning for Karen, to get a shot with Kevin and Me. I had to throw the hat on for the morning sideways hairdo. Thanks for the Tiger Link - that is inspiring - I need to work on my stare down:)

About Me

Thanks for stopping by. My name is Jim Bonnie and I have been writing software for over 20 years. After building financial data systems for Reuters for nearly 18 years I have started doing contract work and am excited about technology and currently focus on Microsoft solutions. DotNetNuke has helped provide a good introduction to ASP.NET web application development, and I am now starting to branch out into other areas. Data Access techniques and SubSonic is something that I am looking into now. This has helped me get an invitation to speak at Las Vegas at DNN Open Force 07. it was a great time.

Reading the codebetter blogs and attending a nothing but .net training class with JP Boodhoo helped spark my interest in ALT.NET. I attended the first conference in Austin Texas, and it was amazing to see Scott Guthrie introduce the ASP.NET MVC framework.
